FOOD TRIPPIN' WITH ZE BEST FOOD BUDDY!

Yesterday was the last day of February, and it's a leap year! Since leap year happens every after four years me and my best buddy came up with a 1 minute plan and that is to make that day at least memorable for both of us. This is actually our regular bonding activity back then, but it changed when I  became a mom (priorities of a single mom). The idea came up when I was browsing through a magazine and have seen a photo that made me crave for fried chicken and fries! urg! So I immediately told my best buddy who happens to be a sucker of french fries and anything worth eating to satisfy our cravings and to bond again at the same time. Knowing her, I know She'll immediately agree with me and She said Yes! We head over the nearest dessert resto that offers delicious meal at a very affordable price. 

We ordered chicken, french fries, hawaiian pizza, watermelon shake and a Chocolate Parfait for  our dessert. We talked about some random things, we laughed at each others joke (but most of the time I laughed at her jokes, she's really funny!) and we simply had a great time. I have realized how I missed this kind of bonding, though we see each other everyday in the office but it's really different when you have some quality time. Simple yet you get to enjoy it. 

I think we need to at least unwind once in a while. Treat ourselves after a long day at work. I'm actually excited for our summer escapade. I'll be at this beautiful island here in Cebu with my girl friends to make summer memorable. I can't wait to share it here on my blog.
