“ELECTRONIC DANCE MUSIC: MEET THE MARVEL SUPERHEROES”—UC- HRM’S ACQUAINTANCE PARTY ‘16
I'm sorry for the long overdue post, the past few days was so hectic and crazy. Anyways, I'm not gonna rant what happened because I'll be sharing you my experience in covering such amazing and fun party I have attended.
Last month, August 28, in particular, my brother invited some bloggers to cover for their event. I, along with my sister, blogger of Summerglee.com, have attended their glamorous acquaintance party.
The event took place at Oakridge Pavilion, which is a perfect ambiance for acquaintance party. When we stepped inside, I saw this wonderful back drop that is perfect for their chosen theme "Marvel Superheroes". I was really impressed with the people behind this event, they did an amazing job of brainstorming and coming up with an idea on how to make this event a night to remember. Events like this made me reminisce all the good times during college days. Anyways, I'll just be giving you a summary of what happened during that night because if I'll narrate it, I will only bore you. This will be long post but not with paragraphs but with photos I have chosen and edited for this particular post. So please bear with me if this will load a little longer than usual.
One of the brains for making this event a truly night to remember. Hello storm!
Registration starts at 3:00 p.m
You see, not all of them are dressed up as marvel superheroes, I think there will be no hero if there were no civilian people to be saved. Perhaps, that's also the reason why they dress up normally but still stunning and gorgeous. Hello pretty ladies! :)
I just love every concept and ideas they all gathered to make this event more fun. Instead of just choosing the best dress for this night, they categorized it into four, which is the #squadgoals contest, Mr. Hero of the night, Ms. Heroine of the night and the Head Turner of the Night. I was really enjoying every minute of it. I'm even more impressed when I saw the teachers participated and wore their best marvel costumes as well. How cool is that right? I certainly hope that my teachers were as cool as this back then.
Teaching Faculty of the HRM Department in their costumes and props. See what I mean? How come my teachers weren't as cool as 'em?.
Again, I won't be narrating and will just show you how fun their party was by simply showing a photo diary. Enjoy!
UC HRM talented students had also performed that night. True, indeed, they all have amazing talented students. Participated in different competitions and was gathered that night showcasing their talents.
Congratulations guys for winning the #squadgoals contest. Good job!
Top three for Hero of the Night. I think they all deserve it! A for effort! congrats guys :)
Top four for Heroine of the Night. My personal favorite among the four was the one who portray PSYLOCKE of X-Men Apocalypse. I mean with her costume, her looks, her projection and overall appearance is close to the original. :) I love her character! Still, good job girls!
Top three for the category "Head Turner of the Night". We all have our favorites right? I really love Storm! I love her costume and her smile. I love how Mystique portrays her character really well but Sister Grimm won. :) Congrats darlings!
Winners photo opportunity. Congratulations again! :)
The newly elected president giving his very inspiring speech.
The finale of the party and the most awaited part was the electronic dance music, the Disco! Everything had flashed back. It reminds me so much of my life, before my daughter came. Anyways, you can also read SUMMERGLEE for more detailed info on what happened that night. Enjoy! :)
