How I celebrate Mother's Day
It's been a while since I last updated this blog of mine. I am so busy with work and I have so many content waiting to be published. For now, I wanted to share how I spent my weekend and how I celebrated Mother's Day.
One of the many things we wanted to do as a family is to go to the beach and have fun in the sun. This is where I am the happiest when I get to spend some quality time with them.
Family is Love |
Good thing that the place we live in is just minutes away from the beach. So last Saturday, we went Island Hopping. We contacted Boyla to rent the boat for whole day and went to three island near Mactan, Cebu.

It was a lovely day. We celebrated two birthdays, my niece's and my sister in law's birthday celebration plus Mother's day celebration. There's a plot twist in the middle since my sister's long time boyfriend had finally proposed. Yes! I think they've been together for almost eight years already and we've been waiting for this moment. We love how our big happy family has expanded more. And the wedding? it will take place this year! I will be attending three weddings this year and I am just so happy witnessing a genuine love that will last a life time.

Anyways, back on our Island hopping, I was really happy seeing my daughter enjoying outdoors and swimming happily with her cousin. I just discovered that she's really brave because she doesn't want me to hold her despite the depth of the sea. She's only wearing her floaters and was happily exploring the sea with her cousin. I just realized that my baby is no longer a baby. I'm happy and at the same time I felt so emotional watching her grow up so fast. I still wanted to hug her so tight and hold her in my arms but she's now tall and she doesn't want me to squeeze her like I used to.

To sum it all, it was a happy day! Documenting it here on my blog to remind me later on that moments like this, is worth remembering.
